Shefali Jariwala, famously known as the Kaanta Laga girl, passed away at the age of 42, leaving the entertainment world and her fans in shock. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Friday night (June 27) by her husband Parag Tyagi and close friends but was tragically declared brought dead. While early reports suggest cardiac arrest, the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed.

At her last rites, Parag Tyagi was seen kissing her forehead for the final time - a heartbreaking moment that quickly went viral and left fans devastated. Ex-Husband Harmeet Singh calls it 'shocking moment of life'


Posting on his Instagram, her ex-husband posted a picutre of her and wrote, "One of the most shocking moments of my life. I'm absolutely shattered and in disbelief after hearing about Shefali's sudden and untimely demise."
He wrote about his marriage to her and said, "We shared few beautiful years together a long time ago - memories I'll always hold close to my heart. My deepest condolences to her parents - Satish ji and Sunita ji, her husband Parag and her sister Shivani. Being away in Europe right now, it's painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites."

He added, "Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time. Jai Shree Krishna."

Shehnaaz Gill, Sunidhi Chauhan bid farewell


Shehnaaz Gill arrived at Shefali Jariwala’s Mumbai residence to pay her final respects, her face reflecting deep sorrow as she joined others in mourning. Soon after, singer Sunidhi Chauhan was spotted at the venue, visibly devastated as she came to say her goodbyes.


Among the mourners was Vikas Fhatak, better known as Hindustani Bhau, who was seen breaking down in tears. Overcome with emotion, he bid a heart-wrenching farewell to Shefali - capturing the overwhelming grief shared by family, friends, and fans alike.

She first rose to stardom with her iconic performance in the Kaanta Laga music video, becoming a pop culture sensation in the early 2000s. She later appeared in Nach Baliye, Bigg Boss 13, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and the Kannada film Hudugaru.
