• Karan Johar for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: While Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani won the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, earning producer Dharma Productions and Karan Johar the prestigious Swarna Kamal along with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh each.
• Sudipto Sen for The Kerala Story: Next, director Sudipto Sen will also be honoured with the same award and prize money for his work on The Kerala Story, which won him the Best Director title.
• Ashish Bende for Aatmapamphlet: Additionally, Marathi filmmaker Ashish Bende will receive the Swarna Kamal and Rs 3 lakh for winning the National Film Award for Best Debut Film of a Director for his first feature, Aatmapamphlet.

Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey, who share the Best Actor award, will each receive a Rajat Kamal, with the Rs 2 lakh cash prize divided equally between them. Best Actress winner Rani Mukerji will also be honoured with a Rajat Kamal and Rs 2 lakh.

The Best Supporting Actor award, jointly won by Vijayaraghavan and Muthupettai Somu Bhaskar, comes with a Rajat Kamal for each and a shared cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
