Here’s why Shah Rukh Khan attended Met Gala 2025

Before the event, SRK talked about how his kids love the Met. He said, “I have kids who are very excited about the Met. I don’t know if I would have come here on my own, but when Sabyasachi suggested it, my kids went ‘wow’," he added. “I didn’t know if it was ‘wow’ for me though."

He went on to add, “Dad did his thing. I’ll be so cool on the carpet for my kids.”

Shah Rukh Khan introduced himself to the international press in a different video. As a sea of microphones rushed out to him, he leaned in and said, "I'm Shah Rukh."



Shah Rukh Khan donned a floor-length elongated coat made of Tasmanian superfine wool with Japanese horn buttons monogrammed on it, according to Sabyasachi's page. The coat features large lapels, a peak collar, a single breast, and hand canvassing. matched with fitted superfine wool pants and a crepe de chine silk shirt. This custom style is finished with a pleated satin kamarbandh. The Bengal Tiger Head Cane, which is made of 18k gold and embellished with tourmalines, sapphires, old mine cut diamonds, and brilliant cut diamonds, is layered with a personalised stack.
