Thor summer skin arrives in Marvel Rivals: Know how to get the legendary superhero’s Worthy Waves outfit

Marvel Rivals is heating up this summer with the new Summer Special event. The main highlight is the Worthy Waves Thor skin, giving the God of Thunder a beach-ready makeover. The best part? You can unlock it for free by playing regularly before the event ends on August 15, 2025.


Players are eager to get the Worthy Waves Thor summer skin because Thor remains one of the most popular Marvel superheroes, both in comics and live-action films. His legacy as the God of Thunder has made him a fan-favourite in Marvel Rivals as well, where his abilities are a big asset in PvP matches.


The Worthy Waves Thor skin adds a fun, beach-themed look to Thor, complete with vibrant details that stand out during gameplay. Players love personalising their favourite characters, and this seasonal skin gives them a cool way to show off Thor in a refreshing summer vibe on the battlefield.

• Open Marvel Rivals and navigate to the Events section from the main menu.
• Select the Summer Special event track where the skin is listed under the Free Track.
• Complete daily and weekly event challenges. Some tasks include playing matches, dealing damage, and using Thor in matches.
• Each mission rewards you with event XP or Surf Tokens.
• Progress through the event track until you reach the tier that unlocks the Worthy Waves Thor skin.

Once you unlock it, the skin is automatically added to your collection. You’ll also earn extra rewards along the way like the Throg! emote, Worthy Waves spray, and a fun MVP intro animation.
