In a real-life incident resembling Munna Bhai MBBS, a 22-year-old Mumbai police driver-constable applicant was caught cheating with a tiny Bluetooth hearing device during a recruitment exam. Here's what happened.
Cinema is inspired by life, but it may also be the opposite. In a real-life incident straight out of Sanjay Dutt's Munna Bhai MBBS, a 22-year-old applicant for a driver-constable position in the Mumbai police department was detained for allegedly employing a tiny hearing device to cheat during the recruitment exam. Here's what happened.

As per an NDTV report, Kushna Dalvi, originally from Bhokardan in Maharashtra's Jalna district, was taking the test at a Raigad military base in Mumbai's Oshiwara yesterday when cops on patrol discovered his strange behaviour.
When they questioned him, they discovered that Kushna had a hearing gadget in his left ear that his two buddies were using to prompt replies to the test questions. The device is so small that it fits entirely within the ear and cannot be seen from the outside. It connects to the phone via Bluetooth.
Police discovered that Kushna's buddies Sachin Bavaskar and Pradeep Rajput were on the phone with him, encouraging him with responses via the tiny hearing device.

A case has been filed against Sachin and Pradeep. Police have taken a SIM card, mobile and hearing device from Kushna, and an investigation is ongoing.
The cheating scenario is reminiscent of a memorable scene from the 2003 Bollywood film Munna Bhai MBBS, in which Sanjay Dutt, who plays a criminal taking a medical entrance exam, seeks assistance from a doctor via a wired headphone.
