Influencer and streamer Juice Seyeon appeared on the "Goddess Edition" of Pajama Party, where she made revealed her jaw-dropping income. Meanwhile, HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk is under fire for alleged fraud related to the company’s IPO.
Remember Juice Seyeon? The influencer and streamer who caused a stir after being photographed walking with HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk in Los Angeles is back in the spotlight. At the time, the viral image - showing her crossing the street with her sister and the music mogul - set off a storm of speculation. Seyeon later clarified that the meeting wasn't random; Bang had simply helped them get into the exclusive Nobu restaurant. Now, almost a year later, she's making headlines again - not for who she was seen with, but for revealing her jaw-dropping income.

She once again found herself in the spotlight on July 16, appearing on the "Goddess Edition" of Pajama Party, a popular YouTube talk show by Ige Jinjja Choejong. Joined by Single's Inferno 4 star Kim Ah-rin, the AfreecaTV streamer opened up in an unfiltered chat about past controversies, plastic surgery rumours, and her staggering earnings.
She branded herself the "icon of misunderstandings," and addressed a viral incident involving a fan who claimed to have spent ₩1.6 billion on her. Seyeon clarified that the exact sum ranged from ₩30 to ₩40 million. She claimed that she had blocked the fan due to constant, intrusive texts.
Among all the excitement, the biggest surprise occurred when she announced her enormous earnings. Seyeon earned ₩100 million on her birthday and more than ₩400 million in one month. She admitted, however, that such money is not continuous and is heavily dependent on how supportive her supporters are at the moment.
In a separate but equally significant event, South Korean financial regulators have submitted HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk to prosecutors for possible violations of the Capital Markets Act. The case contains claims of deceiving investors before HYBE's IPO and pocketing roughly ₩400 billion (approx. $287.6 million).
Following a formal assessment, the Securities and Futures Commission, a division of the Financial Services Commission, reported that Bang and several former HYBE executives had been referred for prosecution. This is a big move for President Lee Jae-myung's administration.

Officials claim that Bang understated the company's IPO chances in 2019 in order to coerce early investors into selling their shares. He is also thought to have reached a private arrangement with a large private equity firm, promising a portion of future profits after selling his shareholding.
In reaction to the issue, the Korea Exchange toughened IPO due diligence procedures to protect investors. HYBE has since published a statement pledging complete cooperation and a commitment to restoring market confidence.
