Kannappa box office collection day 5: Vishnu Manchu-Prabhas’ Telugu film witnesses a drop, earns Rs 1.75 crore

Kannappa box office collection day 5: Kannappa, which hit the screens on June 27, is doing well at the Indian box office despite receiving mixed reviews. The film has already outperformed Ginna–which earned Rs 2 crore in its full run– Vishnu Manchu’s last release, and emerged as a landmark for him. The action drama continued its run on July 1.


Vishnu Manchu is in the limelight because of his latest film Kannappa. The film made a decent impact at the box office on July 1, its first Tuesday, despite a drop. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the action drama earned Rs 1.75 crore (nett) on the fifth day. This is 24% lower than the Rs 2.3 crore it made on June 30.

The film’s total collection stands at Rs 27.45 crore. Kannappa has received mixed reviews with critics praising the performances but panning the execution. The average word-of-mouth has prevented it from reaching its potential.
