The singer-actor, known for fusing his Punjabi background with international style, wore a specially designed Maharaja-inspired outfit to the event, honouring India's royal past while making a more profound cultural statement. Diljit wore a sherwani-inspired angrakha by Prabal Gurung in a pure ivory color, accessorised with a turban (also known as a pag), a matching cape, and imperial jewelry.


However, the small embellishments woven into the fabric were what really set it apart. The Mool Mantra embroidery was one of the cape's most meaningful features. Additionally, we can observe Gurmukhi letters wrapped in the Punjab map at the back.
