Phased Development of the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway
Phase 1: A 32-kilometre elevated section from Akshardham in Delhi to Baghpat. This stretch can be covered in just 25 minutes.
Phase 2: A 118-kilometre greenfield corridor from Baghpat to Saharanpur, which includes more than 60 underpasses and 4 major interchanges.
Phases 3 & 4: These phases include a 14 km dedicated wildlife underpass to ensure safe animal crossings and preserve wildlife movement without disrupting traffic.
In total, the expressway features flyovers, sound barriers, service lanes, and multiple safety measures to ensure smooth and uninterrupted travel.
