Elden Ring Nightreign servers will go offline on July 30, 2025, for patch 1.02. The maintenance will last one hour across all platforms. Players can continue solo play offline, but online modes will be disabled. A new duo mode and quality-of-life features are expected in the update after downtime.
If you're planning to jump into Elden Ring Nightreign on July 30, you might want to pause. The servers will go down for a short maintenance break to apply the new 1.02 patch. The downtime starts at 1 am PDT (1:30 pm IST) and will last just one hour. During this time, you won’t be able to access co-op or online modes, but solo offline play will still work. The patch brings some exciting changes, including a new two-player mode and better item filters. Here's everything you need to know about the downtime and when you can get back in.

When will the Elden Ring Nightreign servers be back?

The servers will be unavailable from:

  • 1 am PDT / 1:30 pm IST / 10 am CEST / 5 pm JST
  • Expected return: 2 am PDT / 2:30 pm IST
This applies to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. During the downtime, players can explore solo content offline, but online co-op and expeditions will be disabled temporarily. The update should go live shortly after servers return.

What’s coming in Elden Ring Nightreign patch 1.02?

Patch 1.02 for Elden Ring: Nightreign brings two highly requested features that aim to improve both co-op play and general gameplay comfort. The biggest addition is the Duo Expedition mode, which finally allows two players to team up and take on challenges specifically designed for them. This mode adjusts enemy strength, rune rewards, and Nightlord abilities to make battles fair for just two participants. It’s a middle ground between solo runs and full three-player squads.

The update also improves the game’s Relic filtering system. Players will now have better control when sorting their inventory, with options to filter by damage type, size, rarity, and special effects. This makes finding the right gear much easier, especially for those who like fine-tuning builds. Overall, patch 1.02 focuses on smoother co-op experiences and quality-of-life upgrades, perfect for both new players and veterans looking to optimise their loadouts.
