Unusually hairy snake like creature goes viral, Internet asks snake or dragon?

The Internet continues to astonish us. From animal rescue stories to scientific breakthroughs, it never ceases to amaze and astound. A video of a puff-faced water snake has emerged online. It will take you entirely by surprise. This video, which has received a lot of attention on social media, shows a puff-faced water snake slowly changing into a scary yet captivating green "dragon." The video piqued viewers' interest.



In the video, the lizard is seen moving inside a half-filled tub of water. According to the publication, the snake acquired green moss all over its body as a result of remaining still in the water for an extended period of time, giving it the look of a dragon.

Rest assured, the snake does not transform into a dragon, although its appearance is strikingly similar to dragons shown in sci-fi films and cartoons. The video was shared on X (previously known as Twitter).

"A puff-faced water snake in Thailand spent enough time sitting still in the swamp to grow moss and turn into a dragon, apparently," according to the message that came with it.



People were ready to express their reactions. An X user wrote, "Maybe dragons from Moss looked like that as well." Another user commented, "That's a cool snake."

Meanwhile, the puffing snake scared a few people. "It looks scary," a person commented. "Might be the first time I've seen a snake and said ew lolol looks cool but gross at the same time," a reader wrote. Someone wrote, "That's so incredibly disturbing. I don't know how to go on in life."
