Kashi–Tamil Sangamam in Ayodhya: A Celebration of Devotion, Tradition, and Development

Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Ayodhya hosted 250 distinguished guests from the Kashi–Tamil Sangamam with grand traditional hospitality. From Ram Lalla darshan to cultural exchange and development tours, Tamil delegates experienced Ayodhya’s heritage, harmony, and transformative progress.
Ayodhya, December 5: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the fourth edition of the Kashi–Tamil Sangamam saw 250 distinguished guests from Kashi welcomed in Ayodhya with traditional grandeur. The delegates arrived in a convoy of luxury buses and were greeted at Ram Ki Paidi with the beats of drums, conch blowing, and flower showers, creating an atmosphere of spiritual festivity. Senior administrative officials formally welcomed the guests following customary traditions.

Spiritual Journey Begins with Ram Lalla Darshan

Upon arrival, the Tamil guests first visited the newly constructed grand Ram Temple for darshan and puja. Their eyes reflected devotion and reverence, filling the temple complex with spiritual energy.

Following this, the delegation visited Hanumangarhi, where they received blessings from Lord Hanuman.

The final stage of the visit included a walk along Ram Ki Paidi, offering a view of the serene Saryu River and the Arti ceremony. Chanting of “Jai Shri Ram” and the delegates’ devotion filled the surroundings with a divine aura.

Food, Dialogue, and Cultural Exchange

After the darshan, a special meal was arranged at the newly built auditorium at Ayodhya Dham Bus Stand. Guests enjoyed a fusion of traditional Tamil cuisine with Awadhi and North Indian delicacies, highlighting India’s culinary diversity.

The shared meal created an environment for dialogue and cultural exchange, showcasing unity in diversity. It was a celebration of centuries-old bonds between North and South India and the enduring Ram heritage.

Ayodhya’s Development Works Impress Tamil Guests

The delegation also visited various development projects and infrastructure improvements in Ayodhya.

The ongoing work along Ram Ki Paidi, Saryu ghats, and temple areas left a lasting impression on the guests. District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram noted that the delegates deeply appreciated CM Yogi Adityanath’s vision and left Ayodhya with immense reverence, love, and unforgettable memories.

Security and Order Ensured a Graceful Program

Strict security measures ensured that the event proceeded peacefully and with dignity. Police coordination, administrative arrangements, and proper planning contributed to a smooth and well-organized program.
