18 years ago, Shivani Schulz was given a new lease on life when she was adopted from an orphanage in Delhi. As a six-year-old girl who had been lost at a train station, she found a new home and family across the globe. Today, returning to the same orphanage with her husband and daughter, Shivani's journey has come full circle. This heartwarming moment is a testament to love, resilience, and the bonds that transcend time and distance.
In a series of heartwarming videos on Instagram, Shivani Schulz shared her emotional adoption story, touching the hearts of many.
Shivani’s biological father was an abusive man who inflicted immense pain on her mother, even threatening her with a gun. After her parents divorced, Shivani and her brother frequently traveled between their parents' homes.
One fateful day, on their way to their father's house, Shivani and her brother got lost at a train station. With their mother nowhere in sight, a kind stranger took them to an orphanage for babies.
A week later, they were transferred to another orphanage, where they stayed for three years until a loving family adopted them. Shivani was just six years old at the time.
In her videos, Shivani recounted her poignant reunion with the woman who had cared for her and her brother at the orphanage.

As they embraced, the caretaker broke into tears, and Shivani found herself crying too.
"In that moment, I felt like I was looking at my birth mom," Shivani shared. "In a way, this woman was a mom to me for three years."

Despite the language barrier—Shivani spoke no English, and the caretaker couldn’t speak Hindi—their bond transcended words, creating a moment of pure understanding and love. Shivani assured her that she was doing well in life.
