"My daughter (Muskan) killed her husband (Saurabh)... She is not fit for society and is dangerous to everyone. I would advise others not to take such steps... She should be hanged till death, and if possible, it should be live...," her father, Pramod, told ANI.
"Saurabh was a good man... We demand justice, and we want her (Muskan) to be hanged till death," her mother, Kavita, added.

Renu Devi, the mother of the victim, Saurabh, also demanded the death penalty for Muskan and her co-accused, Sahil Shukla.
Saurabh Rajput, a 29-year-old former Merchant Navy officer, was killed by his wife and her lover on March 4 after spiking his food.

Rajput, who returned from London on February 24 for his wife's birthday, was stabbed to death, and his body was dismembered and concealed in a plastic drum.
According to the police, the accused had initially planned to dispose of the body parts in a secluded location but later decided to keep them inside a large blue drum, filling it with cement and sand.

The duo then travelled to Himachal Pradesh, attempting to cover their tracks, before returning to Meerut on March 17.
Though the victim had been missing, the shocking crime came to light only on Tuesday after the landlord asked the duo to vacate their house.
While packing the household stuff, one of the workers accidentally opened the lid of the heavy blue drum, which Muskan had claimed contained house junk.
After noticing a foul smell emitting from the drum, the workers informed the police, leading to their arrest.

According to the police, Muskan and Sahil became friends in 2019 via a school WhatsApp group, and after it blossomed into an affair, they decided to eliminate Saurabh so they could live together.
