On completing four years as Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami led a River Festival at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar, offering prayers to the Ganga and urging citizens to respect and protect rivers like a mother.
Marking four years of his tenure, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered traditional prayers at Brahmakund, Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar during a special River Festival. The event saw an overwhelming gathering of devotees, public representatives, and dignitaries.

In today’s time of global warming and environmental crisis, conserving and rejuvenating them is our moral duty,” he said.
Calling on citizens to treat rivers with the reverence reserved for mothers, the Chief Minister led a pledge to never pollute water bodies and to uphold their cleanliness and sanctity.
The Chief Minister was ceremoniously welcomed by Shri Ganga Sabha President Nitin Gautam, Sabhapati Krishan Kumar Sharma, and Reception Minister Siddharth Chakrapani. The Ganga aarti and worship rituals were conducted by Acharya Amit Shastri.
The event witnessed the presence of former CM Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini, MLAs Madan Kaushik and Adesh Chauhan, State Disaster Management Authority Vice-Chairman Vinay Ruhela, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal, and several prominent public representatives and citizens.
