Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: The Prayagraj Maha kumbh Mela, starting on January 13, will see unique babas arriving from across the country. They are called unique because some wear peacock feather crowns on their heads, while others have kept their hands raised for the past nine years.


Computer Baba always carries a laptop with him and loves watching cartoons on it. His real name is Das Tyagi. He got the name "Computer Baba" in 1998 from a saint in Narsinghpur. He has a special interest in gadgets and technology, which is why people call him Computer Baba.


Environment Baba

In August 2016, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Aruna Giri of Awahan Akhada distributed 27 lakh plants from Vaishno Devi to Kanyakumari. Since then, he is called Environment Baba. This time, during the Mahakumbh, he has set a target of planting 51,000 plants.



Digambar Harivansh Giri is a saint and religious leader from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, who became famous during the Maha Kumbh. This group of saints wearing peacock feather turbans is from Kurukshetra, Haryana. The group includes Baljeet Jangam, Randhir Jangam, Hawa Singh Jangam, Satya Prakash Jangam, Ajay Jangam, and Karamveer Jangam. The peacock feathers on their heads symbolize Lord Vishnu's plume.

He has set off on a journey carrying a 20 kg key, which he calls the "Ram Nam Ki Chabi." His real name is Harishchandra, and he is from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. He left home at the age of 16.
