Kulwinder Kaur booked after airport incident with Kangana Ranaut, Singer Vishal Dadlani offers her a job

Constable Kulwinder Kaur has been charged by the Mohali Police following an incident at the Chandigarh airport involving actress and newly elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. Kaur is accused of slapping Ranaut and faces charges under Indian Penal Code sections 323 (causing hurt) and 341 (wrongful restraint).These charges are bailable.



In response to the incident, Kaur expressed her defiance on social media. She stated in Hindi on the platform 'X', "I am not afraid of losing this job... I am ready to lose thousands of such jobs for my mother's respect."


The incident has garnered significant public attention, with various groups and individuals weighing in. Several farmer organisations have shown their support for Kaur, calling for a thorough investigation to understand the full context of the incident. They argue that the situation needs careful examination to ensure all perspectives are considered.

Singer Vishal Dadlani has also stepped forward in support of Kaur. He offered his assistance and assured her that he would help her find employmentif she faced any repercussions from the CISF. "I do not support violence, but I understand why this @official_cisf personnel was angry. If the CISF takes action against her, I will make sure she has a job waiting for her if she wants it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan," he wrote on social media.


Kangana Ranaut addressed the incident in a video message shared on Thursday. She claimed that she was slapped and verbally abused by Kaur during a security check at the airport. This altercation occurred just two days after Ranaut was elected to the Lok Sabha from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.

This incident reportedly occurred due to Kaur's discontent with Ranaut's views on the farmer protests. Ranaut's statements and actions have sparked controversy in the past, particularly regarding her opinions on various social and political issues.
