#Flipkartscam trends on X amid multiple 'automatic' orders cancelled during Big Billion Days Sale 2024

October may be known for its weather and 'fall' feelings in the rest of the world, but in India, the month is more about the myriad festivities that occur one after the other. Essentially, the month revolves around cuisine, events, aarti, housekeeping, and other activities.

Shopping is one of the most popular activities on the list. With that in mind, it's understandable that many of the big online shopping apps have already begun their sales, as people have begun to prepare for the upcoming festivals.


Similarly, Flipkart, one of India's largest online marketplaces, has begun its much-anticipated sale, the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2024. However, after only a few days, the app was already on the deck due to some doubtful 'controversy'.

Furious netizens took to social media, sharing screenshots of their orders that had been cancelled without their knowledge. Yes, users on the internet were quick to dub the app and the sale a 'scam', demanding answers about the unexpected cancellation. For those who are unaware, the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale for 2024 began on September 27, with Plus members receiving early access on September 26.

However, as more customers reported identical complaints about 'purchase cancelled', the hashtag 'Flipkart Scam' began to trend.
