Piracy is a big problem facing the film industry. Previously, titles such as Pawan Kalyan’sHari Hara Veera Malluand Naga Chaitanya’sThandelwere leaked hours after their release. Mahavatar Narsimha is the story of the seemingly unstoppable demon king Hiranyakashipu. He vows to avenge his brother Hiranyaksha’s death at the hands of Lord Vishnu’s Varaha avatar. To achieve this, he adopts the path of austerity and acquires some awe-inspiring powers. He also declares himself to be a god. His young son (Prahlad), however, remains devoted to Lord Vishnu and goes against his wishes.

He then remains a devotee despite facing numerous obstacles. This prompts Lord Vishnu’s Narsimha avatar to neutralise Hiranyakashipu and restore balance to the universe.

The film marks the beginning of an animated cinematic universe.
