Kannappa OTT release: Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu and Prabhas, is out on OTT. The Telugu action drama premiered on Prime Video on September 4. Here is all you need to know about the film before watching it.
Kannappa on OTT: When and where to watch Vishnu Manchu Prabhas’ film
Kannappa is available to stream on Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. It premiered on the platform on September 4. One needs to subscribe to the service in order to watch the film. A Prime Video membership costs ₹1,499/year, ₹599/3 months or ₹299/month.

Kannappa plot and cast explored
Kannappa is a mythological action drama directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. It features on the journey of a devout devotee of Lord Shiva. The film features action scenes, romance, and hero elevation sequences. Kannappa stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role and is the biggest release of his career.

He is joined by Akshay Kumar, who plays Lord Shiva in the biggie. Prabhas has a special appearance/cameo in Kannappa. He plays Rudhra in the flick. The cast includes Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, ‘Collection King’ Mohan Babu, and Preity Mukhundhan. Stephen Devassy serves as the music director.

Kannappa received favourable reviews with critics lauding the presentation. Times of India gave it a rating of 3 stars out of 5 and praised the ‘emotional payoff’.

Kannappa box office performance
Kannappa failed to work its magic at the box office despite the positive reviews. It grossed just Rs 46 crore worldwide. This figure did not do justice to its massive budget of Rs 200 crore.
Kannappa is currently available to stream on Prime Video in multiple languages.
