As we come close to the official launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, a.k.a. GTA 6, the number of leaks and speculations has significantly grown on social media. Last week, a leak suggested that Rockstar Games could delay the game even further beyond May 2026. Second, they are also going to roll out an age verification for players, starting in the UK. On Monday, another leak revealed the price tag for the GTA 6 Premium Edition, and now the latest claims that this game is going to have the longest story ever made and is going tolast for approximately 75 hours.These leaks have sparked debate in the gaming community, and fans share their mixed reactions.

According to an online leaker on X (formerly called Twitter) under the name @GTA 6 Updates, the game is going to be split into five chapters, with a total playtime anticipated to be around 75 hours. With this, Rockstar is going to make it the largest single-player narrative ever created.

Moreover, as per India Today Gaming, this rumoured duration is more than double the 32-hour campaign of GTA V, surpasses Red Dead Redemption 2’s 50-hour runtime, and would position GTA 6 among the longest core narratives in modern gaming.



According to the leak, attributed to a source named 'remiremus', the storyline is structured into a two-hour prologue and five lengthy chapters, with Chapter 4 alone clocking in at around 22 hours and the final act culminating in a setting outside the US, reports Icy Veins.

However, scepticism surrounds the 75-hour figure. While other reports suggest a more modest projection of around 40-50 hours for GTA 6's main story, which, if accurate, would still make it Rockstar’s longest narrative yet, but also aligns better with player expectations and Rockstar’s previous design patterns, as per India Today Gaming.
