Ananya Panday and Vihann Samat's CTRL is releasing soon on Netflix. The film is said to revolve around two influencers and their ugly breakup. Before the film starts streaming on the OTT giant, here are four things you should know before its OTT debut:
One of the most talked about films for this weekend is Ananya Panday's CTRL, releasing on Netflix on October 4. Wondering what the film with this unique title is all about? Here are four things you should know before the release of CTRL on Netflix:
Starring Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samt in lead roles, CTRL is a psychological thriller that highlights the negative effects that AI can have in the lives of people.
The film's story advances when Ananya Panday, playing Nella, uses AI to delete her past after a bad breakup with her boyfriend, but it is shown that AI takes control of her life.
This is the second time that both the actors are working together in a project. Before CTRL, Anaya and Vihaan were seen in Prime Video's Call Me Bae. Both played lead roles in the film, whose second season is also expected soon.
Ananya Panday is looking just the opposite of what she looked in her recently released prime video film, Call Me Bae. Ananya was seen in designer dresses and carrying branded bags and heels, but in CTR, her role is shown as that of a college girl with simple casual dressing.
The Hindi-language thriller film is written and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Avinash Sampath. Dialogues for the film are given by Sumukhi Suresh.
CTRL is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon and made under the banners of Saffron Magicworks and Andolan Films.
Other than Ananya and Vihaan, CTRL features actors like Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, Ravish Desai, and Aparshakti Khurana in supporting roles.
