Oppo is gearing up for the launch of its next mid-range smartphone, the Reno 14FS 5G, and early leaks have already spilled most of the details. A recent listing has revealed the complete design, major specifications and even colour options for the phone.

According to the leak, the Oppo Reno 14FS 5G will feature a flat frame design, AMOLED display, Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a 50MP primary camera. It’s expected to run Android 14 out of the box and support 33W fast charging.

The leaked images also show a dual rear camera setup and a centre-positioned punch-hole front camera. While there’s no official launch date yet, these details give a clear picture of what users can expect from Oppo’s upcoming budget-friendly 5G offering.


The launch will probably occur between late July and early August 2025.


Things are kept slim and sleek with the Reno 14 FS 5G. It features a flat AMOLED display measuring 6.57 inches, with a resolution of 2370 × 1080 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The bezels are slim, and the rear panel maintains the series' aesthetic theme with a smooth, wavy finish—nothing extravagant, just clean and polished.

With dimensions of 158.2 x 75 x 7.76 mm and a weight of only 181 grams, the phone is one of the lighter models in its category, even with its large battery.



The Reno 14 FS 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and a spacious internal storage capacity of 512GB. For daily multitasking, media consumption, and moderate gaming, that is more than sufficient.

It operates on Android 15, overlaid with ColorOS 15. Initial impressions indicate a smooth user interface with subtle animations and enhanced customization options.


A remarkable feature is the 6,000mAh battery. This is an enormous capacity for such a slim phone, and it supports 45W fast charging, resulting in rapid charging times overall. Usually, Oppo's battery optimization in ColorOS works well with large-capacity batteries so that light-to-moderate users can expect two days of usage.


The rear camera configuration addresses the essentials, and it does so effectively. The primary sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX882 with OIS, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. The 32MP front-facing camera should be more than adequate for selfies and video calls. While there's no indication of telephoto optics or sophisticated AI features, this camera combo is a reliable choice for sharp daylight shots and stabilized video, especially considering the price.

The leak suggests that the Reno 14 FS 5G is set to debut in Europe with a price tag of approximately €450, making it a direct competitor to devices such as the Galaxy A55 and Nothing Phone (2a). It is said to be offered in Green and White color variants. While there is no confirmed launch date at this time, indications suggest an August reveal is likely to occur through a discreet online release rather than a significant event.
