BTS V and Jungkook go live on Instagram? Midnight TaeKook moment leaves Asian ARMYs scrambling - here's where to watch it

Fondly known as TaeKook, BTS' youngest duo - Kim Taehyung aka V and Jeon Jungkook - sent ARMY into a frenzy with a spontaneous Instagram Live. The unannounced stream caught fans completely off guard, sparking squeals, chaos, and a mad dash to screen record. Broadcast from a car in Los Angeles, the duo were seen vibing, dancing, and effortlessly radiating that irresistible TaeKook chemistry fans adore.

But for ARMYs across Asia, the joy came with a sting - the live happened past midnight their time. Many were asleep and woke up to chaos on X (formerly known as Twitter), heartbroken to have missed it live. Some fans even shared that they never received a notification, making the situation all the more painful.


Luckily, the fandom's reflexes were faster than ever. In true ARMY fashion, X was instantly flooded with clips, full videos, translations, and fan edits of the live. Nothing goes undocumented when BTS is involved.


The short live was packed with memorable moments: Jungkook and V busting out the viral Rayyan Arkan Dhika "Aura Farmer" dance inside the car, Taehyung squishing Jungkook's cheeks with that trademark affection, and Jungkook commenting "V" in the live chat - while literally sitting next to him. It was chaotic, soft, and very them.



As always, Taehyung's music taste shined with a vibey late-night playlist that included: Utopia – ODIE; Sinner – Samara Cyn; Darlin' – Jean Dawson; Passenger Princess – Aminé & Smino; Western – Mk.gee; angie – Humbe the Great.


All seven members - RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - who completed their mandatory military service by June 21, 2025, are gearing up for a major comeback. The group is currently in Los Angeles preparing for their upcoming album.

On July 1, BTS held their first full-member OT7 live since 2022. During the Weverse live, they shared stories about their two-month U.S. boot camp and confirmed that their much-anticipated spring 2026 album is in the works - along with a global tour that will follow.
