Ashish Chanchlani and Elli AvrRam fooled us all, their ‘finally’ love story was just a PR plot twist for song Chandaniyan

Just when you thought Ashish Chanchlani had found his rom-com moment IRL, BOOM, plot twist! The comedian had everyone’s jaw on the floor last week when he posted a cosy picture with actress Elli AvrRam, carrying her bridal-style with flowers in her hands. The caption? Just one cryptic word: “Finally.” That was all it took to send shippers into full meltdown mode.



Fans were already down bad when the two followed it up with a cheeky reel where Ashish calls himself Elli’s “spot-boy” while they flirt and banter in breathtaking scenic backdrops. Many were this close to making couple fan edits. But surprise, besties, it was all part of a gloriously orchestrated marketing move. The duo dropped a snippet from their new romantic track Chandaniyan, revealing that all the love-dovey chaos was simply promo gold.



Sung by the soulful Vishal Mishra, Chandaniyan is part of composer Mithoon’s new six-song album Master of Melody. The album, inspired by Mithoon’s own life, came together thanks to T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, who dubbed him the “master of melody” himself. Mithoon is also behind the viral soundtrack of Saiyaara, which is currently dominating every music chart possible.


With credits like Tum Hi Ho and Tere Bin under his belt, the guy is basically the heartbreak whisperer of Bollywood. And Chandaniyan, a tale of lost-and-found love featuring Ashish and Elli, is already striking emotional chords across the internet.



Ashish is clearly levelling up! This music video might just be his soft launch into mainstream acting. He was recently seen rubbing shoulders with Jurassic World: Rebirth stars like Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, and fans are buzzing about a full-blown Bollywood debut soon. And after the chaos of the India’s Got Latent drama, this new chapter feels like a solid W.
