Aneet Padda is making waves in Bollywood with her debut opposite Ahaan Panday in the romantic film Saiyaara. Aneet Padda was born in October 2002 in Amritsar, Punjab, into a modest, middle-class family with no background in the entertainment industry. Her early years were rooted in a simple and grounded upbringing. As a teenager, she developed an interest in modeling and began appearing in advertisements. Her expressive features and ease in front of the camera helped her land more assignments, gradually building her presence in the industry.


While pursuing her growing interest in modelling, Aneet also remained focused on her studies. She enrolled at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi, where she worked toward a Bachelor's degree. Throughout her college years, she managed to strike a balance between academics and modeling, gaining valuable experience and exposure that would later support her transition into acting


Aneet Padda began her career in 2022 with a small appearance as an extra in Salaam Venky, starring Kajol. Though the role was minor, it marked her first step into the world of acting. Her real breakthrough came in 2024 with the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, where she starred alongside seasoned actors like Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain. The show brought her into the spotlight and established her as a promising new talent.

Apart from acting, Aneet is also a trained singer. In 2024, she released her debut track titled Masoom, highlighting her musical side. That same year, she played a supporting role in the TV series Yuva: Sapno Ka Safar, where she was credited under the name Aneet Kaur.

In 2025, director Mohit Suri chose her to play the lead opposite Ahaan Panday in his romantic drama, which was later titled Saiyaara. The film marked a major turning point in her career and introduced her to a much wider audience.



In the film, Ahaan Panday plays Krish Kapoor, an emerging musician whose drive and unrefined talent push him headfirst into the harsh truths of the contemporary music scene. His world shifts when he meets Vaani Batra (played by Aneet Padda), a talented and idealistic songwriter. What begins as a creative collaboration soon evolves into a romantic relationship, marked by intense passion and emotional complexity.



The romantic drama, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF, has received praise from both critics and audiences. Released on July 18, 2025, the film witnessed a notable rise in box office earnings on Saturday, collecting approximately Rs 24 crore, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. This brings its two-day net total in India to Rs 45 crore.
