'She looked right through us': Rushad Rana talks about working with Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan

Last seen in Ulajh, also starring Janhvi Kapoor, actor Rushad Rana who is quite popular in the world of television recently shared his experience of working with big stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta among others. On Siddharth Kanan's podcast, he spilled the beans on how he felt Aish and Preity completely ignored him on the sets while SRK and Rani were warm to him even after years.



Rushad Rana had starred with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in Mohabbatein. He played the role of a student of Gurukul along with Uday Chopra, Jimmy Sheirgill and Jugal Hansraj. Talking about his experience on the sets, he said that Aish looked right through him.


"I did not have any interaction with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She chose to look right through us. Preity Zinta did the same during Veer Zaara," he was quoted as saying. Rana said that he could do nothing about it. "What can you do? You can’t exactly say Hi to those who choose to ignore you."

On the other hand, he lauded Shah Rukh Khan, who is hailed as one of the most humble and down-to-earth star in Bollywood, for remembering him eight years later when he met him on the sets ofRab Ne Bana Di Jodi. SRK not only greeted him warmly but also remembered that they had worked together eight years ago inMohabbatein. He was pleasantly shocked after knowing this.

He also revealed that when he metRani Mukherji, she told him that her mother was a great fan of his work inKehta Hai Dil, which she would watch regularly. Rani told him that she would also join her mother sometimes. "I remember that interaction vividly, and throughout the shoot, she was very warm," he added.

Rushad Rana is best known for his roles in TV shows like Anupamaa, Kumkum Bhagya, Hip Hip Hurray, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Sasural Simar Ka and Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara among others. He has also been featured in web series like Ashram 3, Crashh and The Raikar Case, and movies like Sarkar, Dor and Sanam Teri Kasam among others.
