‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047’: Over 53 lakh suggestions received so far

The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047’ campaign has garnered over 53 lakh suggestions. Citizens from rural and urban areas, across various age groups, have contributed. Agriculture, education, and urban development received the most feedback. Jaunpur district led in participation. Extensive outreach activities were conducted across the state to foster collaboration.

‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047: Centenary of Prosperity’ campaign has emerged as a major success. As of October 25, 2025, the dedicated portal samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in has received over 53 lakh suggestions.

Out of these, 41.5 lakh inputs came from rural areas while 11.5 lakh were from urban regions. Coming to the age group, 26 lakh suggestions came from individuals aged 31 or younger. Similarly, 25 lakh were from those between 31 and 60 years of age. Moreover, 2.5 lakh were from citizens aged 60 or older.

As far as the sector-wise breakup is concerned, agriculture topped the list with 13 lakh suggestions. It was followed by education with 12.5 lakh pieces of feedback. Similarly, Urban Development received 10.77 lakh inputs.

Substantial inputs were also received on sectors such as livestock and dairy, industry, IT and technology, tourism, rural development, infrastructure, social welfare, health, and security.

Jaunpur shows the way

Jaunpur emerged as the leader among districts. Over 3.21 lakh pieces of feedback were received from there. The campaign also received a strong response in Sambal (3 lakh), Pratapgarh (1.76 lakh), Bijnor (1.67 lakh), and Gorakhpur (1.58 lakh), Bareilly (1.28 lakh), Barabanki (1.25 lakh), Sonbhadra (1.20 lakh), Gonda (1.12 lakh), and Hardoi (1.15 lakh) too made significant contributions to the campaign.


As part of this Maha Abhiyan, extensive outreach activities have been conducted across the state. Meetings, seminars, and public dialogues have been held in 15 municipal corporations, 212 municipalities, 528 town councils, 56 district panchayats, 713 block panchayats, and 42,666 village panchayats. It aims to foster an environment of collaboration between citizens, representatives, and government departments.
