HBO and Max have revealed their full 2026 slate, offering a packed year of fantasy epics, emotional dramas, sharp comedies and new limited series.
HBO and Max just revealed their full 2026 slate through a glossy sizzle reel, and the lineup is packed from January to December. Seventeen new and returning shows are coming next year, covering fantasy, sci fi, drama, comedy and prestige limited series. It feels like HBO is chasing its biggest year yet, pairing returning favourites with bold new worlds.
From Targaryen firestorms to street level DC heroes and a fresh Larry David adventure, the new slate leans into scale, emotion and top tier storytelling. Here is everything heading your way in 2026.
Netflix may own Warner Bros. soon, but the 2026 shows will stay exclusive to Max for now. The merger will not close until late 2026 or early 2027, so titles like House of the Dragon, Euphoria and Lanterns will not jump to Netflix in the coming year.
After the deal is approved, newer HBO releases may move over to Netflix in 2027. Until then, Max remains the home for all upcoming HBO originals.
