All about the event

The Aarti, a joint initiative of the district administration and the Municipal Corporation, will be held on October 19 at 5:00 p.m. The site has been divided into 11 zones. Arrangements have been made for 200 participants in each zone.

Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi said that the event will highlight Ayodhya’s timeless traditions and the inclusive spirit of the Yogi government as every section of society will be involved in the festivities.

The Deepdan ceremony, held on October 17 at 3:00 p.m., marked the completion of preparation. This was followed by a full rehearsal of the Aarti to ensure seamless coordination between formations, Vedic chants, and the lighting of lamps.

A reflection of Yogi Adityanath’s vision, this event will transcend mere religious rituals. It will embody the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” When the holy Saryu glows with the light of 2,100 lamps, the sight will symbolize the the virtues of spirituality and womanhood.
